God’s Promises of Protection

 


Always make sure that you read the entire scripture and verse. Don’t only read the promise. Follow the instructions meticulously. That is your saving grace.

Psalm 4:8

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. (NKJ)

 

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (NKJ)

 

P - PRESERVATION

Psalm 31:23

Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. (NKJ)

 

Psalm 121:8

The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. (NKJ)

 

Psalm 145:20

The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. (NKJ)

 

Proverbs 2:8

He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints. (NKJ)

 

R - REMOVAL OF OBSTACLES

Isaiah 45:2

'I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. (NKJ)

 

Isaiah 40:4

Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; (NKJ)

 

O - OVERSIGHT

2 Chronicles 16:9

"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars."

T - TAKE OVER YOUR TROUBLES

Exodus 14:14

E - EXPOSE THE WAY

Isaiah 30:21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. (NKJ)

 

Isaiah 42:16

I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them. (NKJ)

REFUGE

Psalm 46:1-2

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

FORTRESS

Psalm 18:2

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (NKJ)

 

HIDING PLACE

Psalm 32:7

You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah (NKJ)

 

SHIELD

Psalm 3:3

But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. (NKJ)

 

COVERING

 Psalm 91:4

 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; his truth shall be your shield and buckler. (NKJ)

 

T - TRIUMPH

Malachai 4:2-3

2 But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.

3 You shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this," says the LORD of hosts. (NKJ)

 

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Deuteronomy 28:7

"The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' (NKJ)

 

Psalm 125:2
