About H.I.M. by Lynelle Clark

Hephzibeula Interconnected Ministries emerged from a profound longing within me. My journey mirrors that of many believers. In February 1992, I experienced a spiritual rebirth, getting baptized on the same day and receiving the Holy Spirit a month later. Although my heart was filled with joy and enthusiasm, I felt the sting of rejection from various corners of the church during my early Christian Walk. I realized that the institutional structures I struggled against hindered my ability to live out the Scriptures as I understood them.

By 2009, I faced significant losses, culminating in the sequestration of my business in 2011. By 2013, I felt disillusioned and betrayed, leading to a divorce that forced me to move back in with my parents in May 2014.

As 2016 drew to a close, God’s voice intervened in all the confusion I found myself in. The very next day, I was prompted to visit a nearby church, where the minister began his sermon, saying, “Today, I felt led to speak about the Prodigal Son.” I knew then that God was speaking to me through someone who didn’t know me and whom I would see again.

From that moment, my journey took several unexpected turns, but God had my attention, and the Holy Spirit encouraged me to connect with others. The longing I felt during my early Christian Walk resurfaced, this time for a deeper understanding. I recognized my perceptions were skewed and needed realignment.

In 2023, I connected with the Apostolic Reformation Movement in Phoenix, KZN (and not N.A.R.), and knew I had found my place. They spoke my language, yet I carried a lot of emotional baggage that I needed to let go of. The challenging process of rebuilding my faith began, accompanied by significant cleansing. I confronted my blind spots and had to apologize frequently. With God’s grace and with the guidance of my spiritual father, this process became a crucial foundation for my life.

Embracing a new culture, as depicted in Acts 2:42, allowed me to shift from a bent position to an upright one. My mindset realigned with the Heavenly Father’s, deepening my understanding of the Bible.

Mal 4: 5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

As believers, we should have the same mind in vision, obedience, and actions as the Lord and our spiritual father. Paul and Timothy had the same mind. This is transgenerational equalization. The father and son must think alike. It is required that the father and son connect with each other. If there is no father son connection, the result is that the curse of Adam is still active.

Spiritual blindness is exposed when there is a bone to bone and heart to heart connection. This is what I have experienced in my life and seen manifesting in many others. To be true to Scripture, there must be a clear separation from the house of Saul (institution / organization) and a real covenant with the Davidic order, the Apostolic doctrine. A new culture must be implemented. If not, your life and ministry could end up in a miscarriage before it has begun.

Since I have joined the ABC Family, I poured myself into the Word. Some things were hard to get rid of. Others fell off automatically when it was exposed to the light. I listened to teachings. Read the books available. And is still busy with the ABC curriculum, which rightly divides the Word very practically so that I can understand and implement God’s instructions into my life.

I submit to Gerda Strydom, founder and elder of Matheteuo Global MinistriesGlobal Ministries is a covenant partner of ABC Ministries and submits to the leadership of Dr SY & Rochelle Govender.

THE BIRTHING OF HEPHZIBEULA INTERCONNECTED MINISTRIES.

Through the continuous studying and separation, H.I.M was birthed.

Again, it took me a while to understand what God wants me to do. I know I am a connector. The reason for the name. But connecting is so much more than just to meet and greet a person. It involves realignment and focus. It means to migrate and come into an upright position. It demands transformation and reconciliation.

Inter is a prefix that is used to add more definition to another word. In this case, interconnected.

The Matthew 28:20 verse became another key scripture within the ministry’s conception once I understood the connectedness.

The bone to bone and heart to heart connection has a greater meaning than I had thought. God has opened my mind and heart to see and hear what He wants to do. After all, this isn’t my ministry. I can take no credit for anything of it. I am just a person with a longing to be used by God.

Coming from desolation and obscurity has softened me and changed my perception on many things but gave me the confidence to speak when needed. It has aligned my thoughts with God’s thoughts. It’s a daily readjustment to truly understand and phantom what God wants to do.

Where He leads, I follow.

HEPHZIBEULA: ISAIAH 62: 3-5.

4You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married.

God is faithful. When you begin to understand the bigger picture, and how all things connect, God’s word becomes real. It becomes a greater reality than the chair you sit on. In my life this is very true.

I was desolate and forsaken by everyone I trusted. I allowed anger, and bitterness to overrule the grace I received and began to falter. Relationships were severed and I met with some very harsh challenges, but God remained at my side. Even though I didn’t admit it at the time.

He has been leading me all the time. Supporting me in ways that is mindboggling at times. But that is a story for another day.

VISION

To establish a Christ-centred community that reflects God’s glory and righteousness. To be my brother’s keeper is fundamental in reconciling the hearts of the fathers to the sons and be a true reflection of Christ in the earth.

Isaiah 62:3-5 Reflecting God's delight and glory as His redeemed and cherished people.
Malachi 4:5-6 Restoring the father-son wineskin.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21: Being new creations and ambassadors of reconciliation through Christ.
Jeremiah 33:9-18 Excellence of the Restored Nation
Romans 3:21: God’s righteousness is witnessed by the Law and the Prophets.

3You shall also be a crown of glory, In the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God. 4You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.

5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet, Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in HIM.

9Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’ 10“Thus says the Lord: ‘Again there shall be heard in this place—of which you say, “It is desolate, without man and without beast”—in the cities of Judah, in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate, without man and without inhabitant and without beast, 11the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say: “Praise the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His mercy endures forever”—and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,’ says the Lord. 12“Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In this place, which is desolate, without man and without beast, and in all its cities, there shall again be a dwelling place of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. 13In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, in the cities of the South, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall again pass under the hands of him who counts them,’ says the Lord. 14‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah: 15‘In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David.

A Branch of righteousness.

He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. 16In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called:

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

17“For thus says the Lord: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel; 18nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’”

21But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

Doctrine and the prophetic will walk hand in hand. Take note: it’s doctrine first, then prophetic.  The prophet must adhere to the Scriptures. Not the other way round.

MISSION

To fulfil the mandate of Isaiah 62 and Malachi 4, we

Follow the example of the Apostle’s culture. Acts 2:42.

Be pure of mind, reflecting God.

Be the righteousness of God on the earth.

Be overcomers according to Revelation.

Have a continually thirst as part of our Godly diet.

A clear voice that speaks truth. The word must be unadulterated and not diluted.

To find peace and fulfilment in HIM. He is our resting place and our Rock.

Delight in the Word.

To Proclaim the Message of Reconciliation. Connecting father and sons globally.

Distributing the gifts and talents God has given us.

o Be a resource centre. Writing, speaking, teaching. Rightly dividing the Scriptures through the proceeding word in written form.

Our Righteousness will be Revealed as we Walk from Faith to Faith. Romans 1:17.

It’s a One-Man Company that walks in the demand of thirst, purity and righteousness as we go to make disciples. Connecting them with the Kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 9:13: Displaying obedience to the gospel and generosity as a testimony of faith.

While, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing (distributing) with them and all men, 14and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 15Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Matthew 28:18-20: Making disciples and teaching them to obey all Christ’s commandments.

18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

 BELIEF

I believe in original sin.

I believe in the Trinity of God.

I believe in the volume of the Book as the Word of God.

I believe in the father-son wineskin as the way to the Father.

I believe a set man must be established in every local house.

I believe in the Apostolic culture (Acts 2:42).

I believe that Jesus Christ is coming.

My destination is Christ and not Heaven.

o I don’t believe in the rapture theory.

o I don’t believe that Jesus’s blood must be applied to any unanimated thing.
